EngineeringUGMA is one of the largest engineering workshops in East Africa in 1960. With state of the art equipment in its Foundry, Machine Shop and Fabrication Shop, the company caters to industrial supply demands all over East Africa in the products & applications in Cement, mining, construction, power, utilities & general engineering.

UGMA's foundry produces cast iron, steel, ferrous alloy and non-ferrous castings. We produce castings weighing from a few grams to 12 tons for a single piece. Our machine shop has the capability to machine all these and larger castings and equipments. We have extensive fabrication capabilities, and produce not only fabricated components of machinery but also civil structures. We also undertake turnkey supply and erection contracts.

UGMA produces equipments for industrial sectors such as sugar, cement, textiles, railways, mineral processing, steel rolling, oil and gas as well as various government agencies. Our clients are from Uganda and its neighbours - Kenya, Tanzania, Rwanda, Burundi and Sudan.
